Overview

This micro app generates Universal Unique Identifiers (UUIDs), 128-bit numbers. These can be used for unique data identification allowing the view and update of data by clients, partners and other users without having to login to the CRM.

Features

  • Generates a unique 36-character ID for a given record
  • IDs are generated from HubSpot Workflows
  • IDs can be used with CMS pages to securely retrieve and update data from the CRM based on a link without having to use a login   

How to Use

  1. Sign up for an Integration Glue Account.
  2. Install the UUID Generator Micro App within your HubSpot Portal.
  3. Create a new Workflow or edit an existing Workflow.
  4. Add the  UUID Generator Action.
  5. Select which property to update with the generated UUID.
